Barnacle Bill is a character who was in the comic story "The Ballad of Barnacle Bill" seen in SpongeBob Comics #55 and #56. Barnacle Bill was originally planned to be an early version of Barnacle Boy and was to be a friend with Mermaid Man. His name was also used in the episode "Party Pooper Pants" when Patchy mentioned his name to Potty.
