Squidward Q.[1] Tentacles (voiced by Rodger Bumpass) is a turquoise octopus who is the arrogant co-worker and neighbor of SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star.

He usually finds his humor funny even though most of the time it isn't really. He also thinks he's a talented artist and clarinet player, but in reality he tends to be quite awful. He has made 500 self portraits, which he keeps in his Easter Island shaped house between SpongeBob's pineapple house, and Patrick's rock. He is also known to have bad karma. He is known to heavily despise SpongeBob and his best friend Patrick, finding them annoying and idiotic. This is seen in many episodes when SpongeBob and Patrick annoy him. He also really hates his job at the Krusty Krab, which he does with both a lack of passion and extreme laziness. Despite this, he seems to be very rich, as his house contains an elevator and it seems to be very comfy.
